The celebrations will begin on Thursday, January 9, 2025, and run until Tuesday, January 14.
Haidar al-Isawi, a member of the Astan’s administrative council, said the programs will be held at the holy shrine in the mornings and afternoons with the participation of Iraqi people and officials.
They include Quranic gatherings, poetry nights, cultural and artistic events, performances of songs and plays, festivals and meetings, and research-focused activities centered on the role and influence of Imam Ali (AS), he noted.
There will also be events to honor academic elites and other groups of people, he stated.
The week commemorating the birth of the child of the Kaaba will conclude on January 14, coinciding with the 13th day of Rajab, with a central celebration to be held in the Hazrat Zahra (SA) Courtyard of the holy shrine.
